Bump. I have issues also... when I send emoji texts to friends they flat out just don't receive the texts. If I send then text without the emoji it goes through just fine.
This may be a dumb question but do BOTH phones have to have this enabled or just the one sending?

I still haven't used Emoji. Not sure if I want to or not. Seems like a hassle and we have enough hassle already.

After much reading I have confirmed that you can only send to the same carrier you're on. Example: AT&T to AT&T works great but AT&T to T-Mobile doesn't go through.

^^^ In addition to that, sender and recipient both have to have iPhones, and both have to have Emoji (at least when the cydia package was released for 2.0 this was the case).

damn, so does that mean for once Apple actually has the upper hand against Cydia?
Emoji in Apple > Emoji in Cydia?
