Installing OpenSSH
I want to connect to my iPod touch via ssh unfortunately ssh doesn't seem to be installed. I tried installing openssh several times from cydia, but it doesn't install. It seems to go through the motions alright, but it doesn't appear in the list of installed apps afterwards.
Is there another way to install openssh?
thanks for any information,
Ed

Strange problem, restart your iPod touch and then try again.
If that doesn't work then maybe try http://www.modmyi.com/forums/iphone-...-100-free.html

No, I'm pretty sure diskaid doesn't need ssh, because I already used that to copy files.
However, I don't know how to install OpenSSH with DiskAid, or even if it's possible.

disk aid is the best software for connecting your iphone. Just download it, open it, connect your phone via USB sync cable and disk aid will let you transfer instantly. No user name or password needed. your phone doesnt even need to be jailbroken. If you havnt used it I highly recomend it.
