springboard app that links to website?

I was wondering how you make a springboard app of a website, basically like a shortcut, i've seen many people do it but never got a proper reply on how to, it would be a big help

You can make a shortcut directly from safari...

Go to the page you want to link...then hit the little "add/+" symbol on the bottom and it will give you a choice to "add to home screen"...pick that.
