Help with Finding AppStore Apps

Im am trying to change the icons on some apps from the appstore but they are not in the normal applications section when i SSH into my phone. Where are they?

hidden away, you have to search for them, the .app folders will be named like

'sdfgvdsfgv87dfs6bvgf87d6.app'

the only way to know which one is which is to look at the info playlist, Also changing the icon messes them up (i think) just use winterboard its way easier!

i found them they are in var/mobile/applications

i was looking for MobileLinked to change the icon and i remembered what day I installed it so i looked to see last modified and found it right away. Once inside the folder with the code there was a few files then MobileLinked.app so from there it was easy. I changed the icon and it still works

Also do you know how to rename app store apps? Rename only works on jailbroken apps (for me atleast)

the rename app works for both on my iphone, try getting an updated source

do you know of a source for cydia?

to change safari to internet i had to go edit the .strings file

do you use Rename or Rename II? both are in cydia

you cant rename appstore apps with rename

it only works with apps in the applications folder

and to alex what are you talking about a playlist if you are refering to the .plist it stands for property list

the only easy way to find appstore apps is to look at the date that they were last modified
