    Question Need Help!?

    Is there anyway i could ssh into my iphone and find stored wep passwords..... i had it at one time on a piece of paper and let someone use it and they lost it..... i have my many of my friends wep keys along with my schools saved on my iphone.... and i would like to update my iphone without loosing those.... i could get them again but its a hassle to ask them especially the school so i would love it if someone could help me... thanks

    im not sure but try var/root/library/caches/locationd/wifi

    im not sure mind you... i am just guessing

    it shows nothing in that folder..... the closest thing i have found is /private/var/preferences/SystemConfiguration

    IPhone does not store a required website password for security reasons.
    I access a number of websites that require a user name and a password for access.IPhone saves the user name entry as a cookie but not the password,which I must manually enter each time I visit a website that requires a user name and password for access.

    im talking about a wep key for a wireless network.... (wifi)
