Add a Google Maps Link to Springboard
I hope this is the right forum for this particular post. If not, feel free to move it.
I know that I can add web pages to the springboard from Safari, but what if I want to add a Google Maps link to my springboard? Trying to open the link in Safari opens it in Maps, and there's no way to add it to the springboard from there that I can find.
Is it possible to create a webclip for a different site and then go in somehow and edit it to link to the Google Maps page that I want it to link to?
Thanks in advance for any and all assistance.

Do you mean in Safari on my computer? Because when I try to go to maps.google.com in Safari on the iPhone, it launches the Maps app.
How do you do that? I must be missing something, because I haven't seen a way to do that.you can just save a route to favorites in maps
