I don't know if I am the only one thinking the Palm Pre's debut is going to help improve the iPhone but its launch would cause Apple to have a true competitor because it is as innovative as the iPhone itself. Maybe it even has better core features than the iPhone excluding the app store. Whether or not Apple has a case against Palm due to patents etc. it will still cause Apple to consider to add new, better, and wanted features to the phone such as copy and paste (OTB), video recording, MMS, turn by turn navigation, pre-loaded maps, landscape keyboard through the entire OS etc. What do you think? Will the Pre be a true competitor? Will it cause Apple to add features and step up there phone to a new level? What features would you want to see?

I think the Pre actually looks pretty cool. I think the main fail will be the network.
