Ok Ive been out of the country since Dec 1 and when I got back I saw that there was a software unlock for the iphone which meant i didn't have to use my gevey sim. So: Me and the wife both have Iphones 3g that run on 2.1 (5F136), w/ modern firmware 02.11.07. Now i tired to find this out on my own but i dont even know what bandwidth i can do it on or what version of yellow snow i need im totally confused if someone can i help me out. I heard i had to update my iphone then jailbreak again? I really iam lost thanks in advance for the help.....

^Yeah, you need to go to 2.2 with the 2.28 baseband. If you go to 2.2.1 it'll disable the unlock as that upgrades your baseband to 2.30...

So yeah, just upgrade to 2.2 and re-quickpwn it.

if you really want you can upgrade to 2.2.1 if you use pwnage to not upgrade baseband

but to be honest with you the major attraction of the update is the baseband update ironically
