    Default GPS not working...ugh

My GPS won't work on my 3G if it's jailbroken, but works fine on a stock firmware. Any idea why? It just won't give me a blue dot.

UPDATE: My GPS works now. I tried downloading two Cydia apps, iLocator and Locatable, and neither of them really did anything, but since installing, running, and uninstalling them, it appears they have "kicked" my GPS into gear. Works great now.

    Are you using Pwnage???

Are you loading a 3G firmware on it.........if your loading a 2G firmware, the GPS wont work. Better double check it.

    Try this:
Navigate to Settings>General>Network>Enable 3G and toggle to “OFF”
Locate yourself using the iPhone 3G’s GPS receiver
Navigate to Settings>General>Network>Enable 3G and toggle to “ON”

Yeah, 2.2.1, 02.30.03 baseband, doesn't work on stock OR jailbroken.

No. Not the GPRS blue dot on the status bar. I mean the blue dot in Maps that shows you where you are using the GPS.

*Shakes head* - mass confusion over "blue dot".
