NEED HELP with jailbreaking iphone 3g 2.2!!!

I just bought a brand new iphone off of ebay that is running on 2.2 firmware with a 2.28.00 modem firmware. I tried jailbreaking with quickpwn 2.2 and it said that the IPSW is incorrect but it matched what it asked for. If someone could help me with what steps I need to take in jailbreaking (I have windows, not a mac), PLEASE POST. And is quickpwn the best way to go or is there another jailbreaking tool to use? Quickpwn is only tool to jailbrake on pc.
