    Default Carrier Settings Update

    Today I connected my iPhone (2G) to my computer and iTunes came back with a message stating that there is an update to the carrier settings. Should I do the update or will I lose my jailbreak if I do?

    Thanks. I did the update. I didn't lose my jailbreak.

    you might not be able to change carrier strings but im not sure i have been hesatating to do the update

    You can still use make it mine and cahnge the carier name and stuff, as far as I know it just added support for microcell.
