Were you driving? Looks like you were sitting shotty because I see the passenger mirror. Maybe it was the combination of the window glass that gives it that effect.

I think it was the combination of driving and taking pics from inside the car. That's probably it I'm sure of it. Does it happen if you take a picture now?

The fact that you are moving while taking the picture makes it slanted. The shutter speed of the iphone camera is pretty slow so it has the slanted effect. Take the same picture still and it should correct itself.

The camera takes pictures from the bottom up, I believe, capturing the bottom of the rail, and moving upwards as you pass the rail in your car. In fact, if you knew the shutter speed of the iPhone, you could probably calculate the speed you were going in the car with a little physics =]

Yeah, it's because the iPhone takes pictures progressively, so moving while the shutter is open makes for an effect like that.

I live in Florida during the winter time... well seven months out of the year... and then back to Michigan I go for five months... LOL I am not to far away from you... about 40 minutes away from Clearwater.......

Driving on that bridge out to Clearwater is just beautiful! When your getting off one of those bridges there it goes up like on a hill and then you can see the hole area from there.... that is awesome! My son would know more about it than I do... I am just a passenger.... LOLLast edited by thetoothfairy; 02-10-2009 at 04:49 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Actually I have a 2G iPhone and took a picture standing in my backyard down the side of my house and the hill on the ground came out slanted while the fence further back was straight so I dont think it has to do with being moving
