Grey Horizontal Lines Across Screen

So I've had this problem for a while now and I'm not too sure what it is. It started randomly one night and got a lot worse. Now it changes from day to day (as you can see in the pictures that they are different) which leads me to believe that it is not infact dead pixles.

It happend when I was on version 1.1.4 and have since updated to 2.x with no avail. (Mind you everything was backed up and resorted and then replaced. Maybe I should try restoring without replacing the backup?)

Any suggestions? Anyone else have this problem? (I searched and only found one other thread)

To me it looks like stuck pixels, but since you said it changes im thinking twice.

First ive seen that, is it 2g or 3g ?

Restore and use it clean, without your backup.

sounds good. I'll give that a try.

Any idea how to restore without apply the backup? or is it just a matter of clicking "Do not use backup" when going to restore. (I dont remeber if there's a screen or not)

Set up as a new iPhone rather than restoring from backup after you restore the firmware.

ive recently noticed some white/grey lines appear on y screen

i have the iphone in a protective rubber case thing , so i have no idea how or why it has happend, please look at the pics below , if anyone can help or advise would be a great help

i iphone is a pay as you go on o2, unlocked iphone on 02payg, i think its usa too

I ended up sending my phone in for warrenty which it was still covered under. They sent me a new (well, refurbished) phone.

I tried everything to get rid of them and nothing worked for me
