    Default iphone problem FAST HELP, PLEASE!!!!

    I just sold my 16gb 2g iphone and told the kid i would keep the tons of stuff i have on it there for him. I have about 1000 pictures on it that i put on from my computer, and those cant be manually erased from the iphone....just the ones from the camera roll can be manually erased.
    My problem is, when i got my 3g iphone, i updated itunes, and now i'm afraid to hook the 2g to itunes and erase the pictures because i dont want the iphone to lock up and erase EVERYTHING. Does anyone know if i can still connect it to itunes and get the pics off it, w/o erasing all the media? Or of another way to get the pics off?
    QUICK HELP, PLEASE!!!

    i believe it syncs as per the serial number and/or the name of the phone. i have backups and stuff for like 5 different phones on mine
    The beatings will continue until morale improves.
