AT&T iPhone 3G 2.2.1

Okay, I'm new to the forum and this has probably been asked a million times, but I've searched and can't find a good answer.

If I can unlock my phone, what do I do next? Do I buy a T-Mobile phone and plan and put the sim card in my iPhone? What plan do I buy? Right now I'm paying $150 per month for AT&T. Can I save money and be able to use to phone anywhere in the USA? I love the phone but hate spending $150 a month if there is a way to save $. Any advice would be appreciated.

U cannot unlock ur iPhone now(2.2.1/modem f.w 02.30.03). But u can use latest USIM.

And yes you can get a LOT cheaper deal on internet with tmobile
