Double click the Home Button when the phone is turned on (unlocked) as a shortcut to go straight to Favourites in the phone app.

If you are listening to music at the time, this shortcut gives you a popup for the iPod with basic controls.

Double clicking the mic button on the earbuds skips to the next song. (I know this is in the manual, but it seemed connected to these tips)

You will have to hold your tap on the letter on the keyboard. Then you will see a horizontal list on top of the letter where you can then move your finger to the letter that represents the accent.

dont know if anyone said it but i realized if you double click the home button while locked it will bring up an ipod controller! I never knew that that makes it so much easier than having to unlock !!!!!

this is probably common knowledge, but useful anyway.

If you have a frozen app or too many background apps you can force them to terminate by holding the home button 8-10 seconds.

That way you can often avoid rebooting the phone.

If you tap the left and right edges of the screen above the dock it will take you to the next springboard page. You don't have to flick.

If your at the "Now Playing" screen you can slide your finger to the right and it will take you back to your library....instead of pressing the small button on the top left

Double touch the Caps button and it will turn blue and it will stay on caps lock

if you poke your iphone speakers with a needle it makes the speakers about 40% louder (i swear)

Does anyone know if I unlock my iPhone can I lock it again? And if I have AT&T will it still work? Thanks!

Basically I just want to change the theme of my iPhone. What do I have to do to get this to work? I don't need to add programs or change my carrier. Thanks a bunch!!!!

I'm going out of country and am running 1.1.4, do I need to download a iWorld application or something similar if I use a sim from that country. iWorld will only work on 1.1.2..

If you tap caplocks twice it stays on capslocks But this doesn't seem to work on 1.1.4, any one else having problem?

It has always worked on my 1.1.4...
I have restored twicem and its never been a problem, here.
