You can now more easily send more than 1 picture via email. Open the photo app and click the bottom left icon and click the images you want to copy/share!

This thread really useful and opened my eyes!
I got one thing that i really dont understand. (and I do apologize first if this question doesnt belong here!)
Due to a stupid mistake I was forced to uninstall my 8.2 itunes and install 9.0.1. I was sure I deleted the whole lot and cleared the bin before installation.
But after synced my iphone with itunes (Note: i remained at fw 3.0.1!) and when i checked my bin again, to my surprise i saw an IPSW file of fw 3.0.1 in it. Who may know this one, can he/she explain to me what happened? Just curious

And it just moves it to the trash.
If it does accidentally get deleted, it should be in your trash.I always feel sorry for the guy in the iPhone commercials. He always gets a call right in the middle of trying to do something

simultaneously plugging in the dock cable and the headphones while holding down both volume buttons and the sleep and home buttons gives you alt+tab functionality similair to that of the palm pre.
P.S. only works on iphone 2Gs still on firmware 1.0

On the contrary, all of the sensors are located directly to the left of the earpiece. Maybe thats what you meant, but just to clarify...
If you press down the "sleep mode" button on the top of your phone and the "home" button on the front, you can take a snap shot of whatever is showing on your screen at the moment. The screenshot will save to your normal camera roll. Im not sure if this has been previously mentioned in the forum, but i have not seen it. I also don't know if this feature has been on earlier versions of the iPhone, since the 3g is my first iPhone.Last edited by mrmiller; 09-28-2009 at 08:50 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

10-02-2009, 10:39 AM #318Thanks for your previous answer. But do you think i need to uninstall and reinstall itunes (9.0.1) now since I accidently restored the 3.0.1 IPSW file from the bin? Somehow I cant find the file now.Due to a stupid mistake I was forced to uninstall my 8.2 itunes and install 9.0.1.

There is in fact a way of escaping that awful coverflow that opens when you don't want it to. Just look on Cydia for a SBSettings toggle called 'Rotation Inhibitor'
