Finding out an "Unknown" number?

White Pages won't work, because he doesn't know the guys number when he calls. It just says 'Restricted' or 'Unknown' or something like that... am I right?

If you want to you can call your service provider and they will block it... but they can't actually give you the other person's number because of privacy issues.

your correct. If he could find out the number. Then he could trace it with white pages. My understanding is the op doesn't want it blocked until he find out who it is.

Exactly... Hopefully the guy calling him screws up and dials with his phone number un-blocked one time.

Yeah I don't want the number blocked until I find out who it is. Are you guys sure that the number won't come up in my bill statement?
