    Default *3001#12345# not working (3G,2.2+yellowsn0w)

    *3001#12345# does not work

    3G-16GB, FW2.2, yellowsn0w 0.96, T-MobileUSA

    Today was the 1st time trying it since purchased!!
    Returns: Error performing request, Unknown Error

    I know this worked on my 2G.

    Any ideas?

    FieldTest.app does work Put on the Springboard (added icon.png and edited info.plist)

    What exactly are you trying to do, cause that code hasnt been used in a long while.

    Oops, didn't know this was out-dated. Just learning investigating, playing, etc. While adding FieldTest to the Springboard I noticed the many posts (obviously outdated) about using *3001#12345# to execute FieldTest.

    And FYI: I used FieldTest and code # numerous times with the 2G because my house has minimal cell reception. Ended up getting a cell booster. Don't need it now with the 3G, and was curious about the network strength.

    Ahhh, gotchya. I would just have to assume it wont work anymore. But I cant be sure, as I dont use it.
