Outlook Sync (Itunes)

Hi All,

My contacts kinda got screwed up... I had added quite a few contacts on my phone recently and apparently the sync took my pc
as the master contacts and all those which i added on my iphone are missing.. any idea how i can solve this ?

It does work ... eventually. Had similar issues the very 1st time but I had a backup and was able to restore. Ever since then everything has been syncing well.
At one time I thought it had something to do with the last access (Outlook or iPhone). Now I'm not so sure. I've decided to not fight city hall and let Oitlook be master. During an iPhone upgrade/restore I check the box at the bottom of the iTines/iPhone info page that forces iPhone slave mode for contact and/or calendar sync.

but the probs is that i do add quite a fair bit of contacts on the move...

@rickbath. That ok, so do I. Once they truely get sync'd subsequent syncs work correctly. Not sure why I had to 'clean up/reenter' certain contacts and calendar events. But after I finished it's been syncing well (over 6 months now)
