3G not always working?
|
I've been having a weird problem all day. When I'm connected to 3G, although in SBSettings it will show a data IP address, i'm unable to connect in any apps except for Mail. facebook doesn't connect, itunes, app store, tweetie, byline. none of those would connect. cydia seems to connect as it loads data and images seem to all come up normal. mail would connect and retrieve/send. from a few testings, it seems like the way to solve this problem temporarily is by launching sbsettings and turning off and then on 3G. everything ironically runs okay off of edge, but just not 3g. I haven't seen any complaints of 3g issues in my area. plus, if it really is an area wide issue, my mail wouldn't work either.
i'm thinking i may need to restore, which is just such a pain so would like to avoid if at all possible. i have also rebooted a few times and also synced with itunes and none of that seemed to have helped. any suggestion is appreciated.
