    Default Iphone 3G no backlight

    I recently ordered an iphone 3g off ebay that had been water damaged, after finally getting it to restore ive moved on to the next problem......no backlight. I've tried restoring twice to get the backlight to work, ive also tried messing with the brightness settings in every way possible. Anyone have any other ideas or think replacing the screen/digitizer would help at all?

    The backlight LED's are part of the LCD, so the LCD would have to be replaced. And more than likely thats not the only thing that got toasted if its got water damage.

    So im selling my 16GB iphone 3G on ebay. Anyone interested please let me know. The only problem it seems to have is the backlight, other than that everything functions fine.
