I need to load an old backup.

Ok i accidentally deleted all my contacts, i restored my phone the same day the 2.2.1 update came out trying to load an old backup. I had the 2.2.1 update so i was wtf? Today i downgraded to 2.2 and i have a backup from the 14th i want to know how to load it. I tried deleted the other backups and only putting that one in the folder but it didnt work.???

Restore and when it asks you to set up as a new phone or from backup, select the backup you want. Not sure if that's what you're asking or not...

Yes i tried that but it didnt work it loaded a backup from the 27th for some reason. The only file in the backup folder is the one from the 14th.
