Is there a good VOLUME boosting app

I have a first gen running 2.2 and the volume is terribly low.
I have installed volume boost 2.2 and still have low sounds coming from the speakers as well as when on the phone.
Any recommendations??

The first gen phones just have a really weak speaker set up so there's no other options.

I had the old volume boost when I was running 1.1.4 and it did increase the volume. It is after updating to 2.2 that the issue had occured.

Thanks for the input Poseidon...if I find anything I will post it here.

If is for music you can use MP3gain and boost the volume of your files and then tranfer to iphone.

VERY CAREFULLY poke holes throught the little membrane near the speaker. It's the one on the bottom right if I remember correctly. You will be amazed. If you do this, be careful to not poke very far.
