Is this possible?
Both myself and my girlfriend have iPhones (2G).
Before I begin I will also say that we use separate computers to sync our phone, obviously.
I was wondering if there is a way to sync her phone with my computer to copy the music over ONLY, or is this "unallowed" per Apple standards. If this isn't possible, is there any other way, besides copying all the music from my computer to hers...
Thanks guy!

Its a little complex sync 2 different iphones with one computer&one itunes account. But in this case just copy all songs from itunes to your created file on your computer. Then put them into a cd&memory stick. After upload them to her computer© them to her itunes. Then sync her itunes with her iphone...

if you want to copy the music from your computer AND her computer to her iphone at once, you can use the "Manually manage Music and Videos" option in itunes. that way, the entire song library on the iphone doesn't get wiped out when you connect the iphone to another computer. but make sure that when you connect the iphone to a different computer to cancel the automatic sync and check the option of "manually manage" on that pc's itunes aswell. then you can simple drag/drop the music to the iphone, on both the computers.

were your 1600 songs purchased through itunes (i.e. are they drm protected?)
if not then just ssh or use iphone explorer and drop all your music into a random folder on yours/her iphone and then move it off at her house onto her computer. then import it into her itunes library. (basically the same process as above but without burning lots of cd's)
thats probably the best way, it gets messy and unpredictable when syncing (or even just plugging in) a different iphone in a computer with itunes on.

Um... I didnt purchase most of them phone itunes. And also, I "forget" where they came from... wink wink
But in reality, this way seems to be the best. I would rather do it like the way you described, than take forever with burning CDs, and then having to rip the media from them... Thanks for the idea.
