Phone application crashes

I've had my 3G Iphone jailbroke for almost 2 weeks. Sometime between yesterday afternoon and this morning, something happened with the phone application. I will click the phone button, the keypad will briefly appear, then go back to the home screen. If someone calls me, I can answer, but instead of seeing their picture and mute, speaker, etc. buttons, it goes immediately to the home screen with the green push to return to call banner. How can I get this back?

Have you tried to hold down the home button and power button to reboot? Try it after a hard boot. If not what were the last programs you installed to your iPhone? Have you tried uninstalling them to see if one fo them caused the issue.

Are you familiar with SSH?

Did you install any apps? Did you try to reboot the phone.

I figured out it was because i installed Kate nearly two weeks ago. I had to reinstall it, go to settings, rip dev, products, kate, and uncheck everything. After this it is working fine.
