    Default Earpiece replacement

I need to replace the ear speaker on an iPhone. I have determined that it is the only issue with the phone because the bottom speaker sound and everything still works. Many people sell this part on eBay. However, I cannot find a single guide on the Internet anywhere on how to replace this part. The farthest any guide goes is the removal of the logic board and battery.

    Any help?

Well, the speaker "clips" into the frame behind the glass. You just have to remove everything over it.

Does the proximity sensor work?? When you hold the phone to your ear does the screen turn off??

If not, its actually the flex cable up there, and not the speaker.

Actually, I've dealt with a flex cable problem before and repaired it successfully with another part. I am positive that the ear speaker is broken because the phone is suffering no other issues at all.
