Problem with opening up the iPhone...
Well after taking apart my iPhone 1st Gen 8GB without the proper tools and knowing how to open it just plying it apart... here is a pic of what it looks like apart..

the orange ribbon broke off from the little black thing,so it cant connect to the motherboard because the orange ribbon is just by itself and the i still have the black peice that broke off, how can i go about fixing it? now the volumn buttons and power button do not work.
NOTE: IN THE PIC THAT IS A PIC OF HOW IT SHOULD LOOK ON MY IPHONE THE ACTUALY STRIP IS NOT CONNECTED.. IT BROKELast edited by moneysh0t09; 01-24-2009 at 02:16 PM.

You'd have to buy a new flex cable. That one's toast.

It looks bent on the left (if you're looking at it) or I need to make an appointment with my eye doctor.
