Lost my edge

Since upgrading my 2g to 2.2 and adding boss prefs, I cant get edge only wifi. Help please

was your sim in during the upgrade?

sorry for the delay ingetting back. yes sm was in during upgrade. i have switched edge on in boss prefs. but still unable to get online

*1st you put it into another phone which is the same operator&running without problem on edge.Just surf internet for a while.Then put it back into your phone.Try again.
*If it does not solve.Try to reset your network settings.
*If does not,try turn airplane mode on&off...
