USB charge problems
so after searching and reading I am still not 100% satisfied with what I have found. When I am using my iphone on my laptop (hp tx2500 series) when the phone goes into standby or when a call comes or sometimes just anytime
I lose the connection. It happens more often with after market chargers but also does happen with the stock one. Any ideas why. I do have USB 2.0 on my computer.

Does the same issue happen on another PC? You can narrow down the possibilities by trying to duplicate the problem. I would try to plug it into another USB port on your PC. Also try to disable the sleep mode on your iPhone and see if it loses connection after a certain amount of time.

I have the same problem when I use it with my HP laptop. Maybe my charge cable is screwed up, but when I plug it into the wall charger, it works just fine and doesn't disconnect. I've tried switching USB ports but still no luck

Have you tried using a USB hub. They are like $5-$10
Maybe it'll work.
I was googling and I found other people with HP's had the same problem.Last edited by gQstatus05; 01-24-2009 at 07:55 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Aw that's really unfortunate to hear
maybe a simple updated driver will help it but my laptop says all drivers are up to date
