I remember seeing this poll awhile back (before 3g) and now that the 3g has come out im curious how many iphone people have had due to replacement by warranty or just felt like buying a new iPhone

I personally have had 12 my first one i got on iday got stolen after about 2 weeks i bought another then had to have it replaced 10 times due to hardware issues. Then i got my iPhone 3g!

considering i fix and sell them i have had at least 10 2g's this year an 2 3g's .....each one for about a month

3 2G's one broke, one sold, one replacement from Apple for the 1st broken.

I have 16 gb 2g and 8gb 3g .I bought one for my sister , bought one and sold it .I had both my sisters and mine 2g replaced recently

Unlocked and sold my first 2 2G iPhones. Bought a third. Sold it to get a 3G.

GF dropped it 2 days after it came out, and Apple felt bad and gave me a new one. The new one had a faulty battery so i'm on my 3rd 3G.

6 iPhones and counting.

I have had 4. All replaced for free through Apple. I figured if they were under warranty and free, that if even the slightest thing was wrong, I would get a new one while I could. The last one they actually gave me an 8 gig instead of the 4 gig I had originally. SWEET!
