    Default uk iphone help

    hi

    i have an AMERICAN iphone 3g , i have a uk o2 sims that i bought separately the ones that give 1 year free web browsing , how do i activate setting for this as when i go on safari it always says it couldnt load the page.

    you need to go to

    settings>general>network>cellular data network

    then enter:

    APN: payandgo.o2.co.uk

    User: vertigo

    Pass: password





    Just in case anyone else reads this, and for general information, the iPhone is NOT region locked. An american one is the same as a uk one.

    They are only carrier locked.

    Restore, ut in an AT&T sim in America, plug into iTunes and phone activates.

    Take the same phone to the UK, restore, put in an O2 sim card, plug into itunes and phone activates.

    etc etc.

    APN: mobile.o2.co.uk


    if that doesn't work then you need to get in touch with o2.
