Email attachments....streaming...still no way ?

Didn't find anything so I thought to ask again...

With over 90% of people using windows, how come is it that we still don't have a proper way to view attachment files we receive on email ?
I don't mean a simple word doc, but avi files, pdf etc.
Going online does not help either as there is no streaming options from safari...

Also if there is a 3rd party app that does it, where do the email attachments go ? Can't figure this thing out.


I know I am getting away from the email subject a bit but for being "the most innovative device" as Jobs called it back in the day, it has some serious flaws with the simplest stuff we are all used to.

Anyway, I am venting now but what the heck...no one yet with some simple solutions ?

there are some add-ons to read attachments like that cydia and google are your friends

I appreciate it and not to sound ungrateful that someone takes time to respond but I've spend hours looking and trying before I post this, so if you know any specifics you can point the direction, otherwise this does not help...
