Need a better answer...

I am using a 2g iphone, jb and unlocked. Yahoo email was pushing to my phone great for a while, then all of the sudden stopped. I have to manually fetch the mail. So I reset my phone all the way back to stripped and stock, then re-uped everything. Still nothing. I have seen plenty of post about this but can someone give me a good answer?

Is this an iPhone issue or has Yahoo stopped pushing?

This is a common issue.Alot of people have this problem.It comes from yahoo servers...

You restored your phone because email wasn't working!? That's drastic, did you at least try to remove the yahoo account first and then restore?

Yeah, I removed the yahoo account... twice. Reset the phone. Then I restored. I dont mind doing that, but I was hoping for the trouble it would work again.

Hey, now get this.
I had the phone on and opened to the email app, just sitting there, the mail pushed through. When its not on that screen or locked, the mail will not come through. So push works. I think there is something up with the phone.

Gmail I know is better, but I hate changing my e-mail address.
