    it disables apple from removing app store apps from your phone for whatever reason they want .

    turn it on

    ok should it be on or off to prevent apple from doing this. intuitively I would turn it off as in " no I don'T want that" but have felling it's the opposite.
    I don't drink kool-Aid, I don't join cults.
    This is why I break out in cold sweat going to Apple retail store.

    I've never been sure of that either, and I can't find a solid answer.

    Does ON mean the killswitch is on or does ON mean killswitch blocking is on?

    The killswitch is a hook in the OS that allows apple to disable an appstore app if it goes rouge. It has not ever been used, not even on the "illegal apps" (like the ones that sliped through to allow tethering). ON means the kill switch is activated. I would keep it ON, as if there is ever an iPhone Virus you'll be safe. If apple decides to be evil and turn use it or something, you can then turn it off.
