Default Having trouble with my phone

Hey guys, ive been looking through alot of forums and i find this one to be alot help from other threads i read.

    Here is my problem:

I got my phone about a week ago, jailbroke it the same night then i watched some videos on youtube by Dino (D7) and he had some great mods and apps that you should use.

I got most of them but after i started using the "cracked apps" trick i started to get some problems first of was when i went to download some apps from cydia, it wouldnt appear on my desktop, i would restart my phone several times but still nothing.

Then i went on to app store, to get a free app just to check if the problem was only with cydia+instraller, but i found out that i was stopped shortly after pressing install and got this text:

    "Application Not Compatible
This application requires the iphone 2.0 software update"

I dont know what this means, i updated to 2.2 before i jailbroke it and everything worked untill i did SSH and change my files around in my iphone.

I am wondering if i change some files around, or if i need to completely restore my phone, if so can someone provide me with a good link to do it.

Thanks alot for the help hope to hear from you soon.

Since we have no idea what files you messed with....its probably a good idea to restore.

Ya thats what i was thinking, i cant seem to find a simple restore. More i find are with backing up your apps and bookmarks, but i just got my phone so i dont have alot on it.

Is there any other threat i should read that just does a simple restore to "new"

There's only 1 way to restore. Through Itunes, hit "restore".

Naw thats bout it. As long as your staying with your current FW version, really....you cant mess up with a restore.
