Hi,

I'm still using an old generation 4GB phone on version 2.2, and I'm running an OSX Mac. The phone is still locked and has never been jailbroken or modded. I recently lost some saved voicemails on my phone due to the network's auto-delete protocol. Since losing the voicemail messages, I have not re-connected my phone to sync, so as not to re-initiate a new Backup and lose the needed files from the last backup.

Assuming those voicemails are still accessible from my last backup files, how can I get to them? Is there an OSX app to locate and read those files or a way to do it using my computer only, without having to re-connect, sync or mod my phone? I would like to mod it afterwards if necessary to continue saving future voicemails and files from the backups or directly from the phone itself. But first, I need to retrieve those old voicemails from my last backup.

If it makes a difference, my service with AT&T is currently suspended.

A year and a half later, I'm still a newbie.

Thanks in advance for your help.
