Can't sort contacts v2.2

Hey Everyone..
I just upgraded from v2.1 to v2.2 on a 2g iphone. It was unlocked with Pwnange. Everything works perfect except that I cant get my contacts to list properly. I tried to reset, that didn't work. Tried to install Callid Fix and FormatFix through Cydia and that didn't work. Tried to sort contact through settings and that not working. Anyone else have this problem? Please help!! This is annoying I did a backup of my phone through iPhonePCsuite(newest version) before upgrade, and after installing 2.2, i restored contacts(along with other stuff) back to phone through iphonepcsuite. Anybody else experience this? I tried searching for a fix, but no luck.
Any suggestions would be appreciated

Find your address book that backed up on pc suite( addressbook.sqlitedb and addressbookimages.sqlitedb).
SSH into your phone private/var/mobile/library/addressbook...Change both files with pcsuit backed up files&permission to 0644...
