Add backgrounds to iphone backgrounds section?

Is there any legit, non-jailbreak/ssh way to add backgrounds to the background section of the iphone? or are we just stuck with those cruddy default backgrounds apple provided us?

maybe im missing something but i think it's pretty stupid not to let people upload their own backgrounds without resorting to upload it to the pictures section.

uh for the lock screen you can just sync some images with itunes but for the springboard u need to jailbreak and use winterboard

download diskaid its free, connects computer to phone via usb, hit root folder, library, then at the very bottom should be wallpapers! i deleted all the stock ones and use my own, make sure they are .png and i number them just like the the stock ones as well
