Camera dissapeared... PLEASE HELP!!!

Hi,
My camera app and photos dissapeared and I don't know how to get them back. I tried boss prefs, but it won't show up, open SSH and iPhone broswer were no good either Someone suggested customize, but I don't know how to use it since I got it only recently to work. I DON'T want to restore my iphone since its unlocked and I went through a lot of trouble to unlock it And help or suggestions is HUGELY appreciated, I've been trying to fix it for months! Thanks!

No, not at all! I thought that was the problem too, but it doesn't even show up in poof! Restrictions aren't the problem either I think the camera dissapearing has something to do with an app called Kate, and if you haven't heard of it, BEWARE!!! It completely screwed up my iphone until I SSH'ed and completely removed it, but i think it's still in there somehow and causing my camera to be hidden. I've tried countless times to get it back with no success

there are TONS of warnings about kate and other RIP Dev applications. its looking like a full restore time here. unlocking the phone is really not that hard to do once youve done it the first time. all you have to do is check it off with quickpwn and its done in like under a minute. just more proof that RIP dev makes WAAAAYYYY bad applications

I know, I should've researched Kate beforehand, but I really didn't think much of it. Then BAM! I suddenly couldn't make calls (by some miracle it fixed itself!), my camera and photos dissapeared, and apps would randomly crash! GAAAAAAH, I wish I'd never seen it in Installer!!! Last I heard Cydia was more reliable and as far as I'm concerned, RipDev can go to hell for making such a virus like app!!!

Allright, I guess I'll have to restore one way or another anyways when it comes time to resell. I just wanted to avoid it but oh well
Do I just restore my iPhone via iTunes then use Quickpwn to reunlock it? I've heard Quickpwn's really easy but I dont want to brick my phone orrisk messing up. All the help has really been great, thanks guys!

I'm just asking because I've never used QuickPwn before. I got my iPhone off ebay and the seller did it for me. I know he used Quickpwn as well because I see the little pineapple logo at the beginning. Any help would be so great!

Even my camera does'nt click pics just shows black pic. Nothing else ans i when i save images in safari its not seen in camera roll . I don't have kate installed any idea?

I Googled your problem, but all that came up was "restore it" I've heard that problem comes up a lot, I'm glad I didn't have that but I dont even have a camera as of now! lol
Well, I'm going to wait until someone tells me how to use Quickpwn then I'm going to give it a shot. Sorry it wasn't much help, but that's all I found
