"Silent Switch" Doesn;t Turn the Screen On ?!

Hi there , recently i noticed that using the Silent mode switch didnt turn the Screen on to Show the Bell tunring on and off ...
is there any thing i can do to fix this ? ( i still have the Vibrate thing when putting the Phone in silent mode , but the screen doesn't turn on )

If its still actually going into silent mode. Than its software issue. I would try a restore.

Tried the Restore , Didn't Work ...
maybe that hass something to do with 2.2 ...

I have 2.2 and dont have that problem.

Yes the Phone goes in Silent Mode , and only Vibrates , but it does not turn the screen on
if the screen is on and u turn on silent mode , u can see the bell

Does the screen come on for everything else? Thats it...only the vibrate button?

If thats it....I dunno....but I wouldnt really care if it was me.

Mine does the same thing. I've tried it with the passlock enabled / disabled. If the phone is on, but turned off (pressed the power button - I guess that's sleep mode), turning on silent, it vibrates; turning off silent .. nothing. The screen stays black

If the screen is only dimmed, the screen will get bright.
