How to Enter Safe Mode in iPhone 3g??

How to make my iPhone enter the safe mode without using any app?? i Know i can do that using SBsettings but i wanna do it manually, is it possible???

just for the sake of info, as in safe mode you can perform functions which you cant in normal mode

all u have to do is hold the power and home botton and then after 10 sec let go.

NO, that's DFU mode, different from Safe Mode.

I'm not aware of any way to purposefully access safe mode other than SBSettings.

SBSettings safemode does not work at least on the 3.1.2 firmware

Lol. Try swapmode in cydia. It's safemode without being safemode. It disables all addons so ur iPhone is like new or unjailbroken. Great for playing games
