Call Notifications when Airplane Mode is ON??

Hi there.

Is there a way to receive an email or an SMS of the calls when Airplane mode is ON??

I normally turn On AirPlane Mode while sleeping at night and turn it OFF when wake up in the Morning, so i just wanna know the no. of the ppl who called me when airplane mode was ON, may be through an SMS.

Is there any way to do this??

Well i am here in Japan and i think Softbank(Carrier) has this system that whenever someone calls you and your phone is turned off, that call bounces back to their server and get stored over there and whever the receiver's phone turns on, they send the SMS that ABC person called you at this time.

i was wondering if there is any app for that purpose??

That would be cool. Sounds more like a carrier service rather than an app. But you still wouldn't receive it until you turned off airplane mode.

No no its not like that. I dont have a double line on my iPhone, means if i am busy on some other Line and if someone else calls me, he gets the engaged tone (indicating him that my phone is busy) but i ll get the sms immediately that someone else was calling me when my phone was busy.

So its not like that i have to turn on airplane mode always to get this functionality, it works even if i my phone is busy.

But after restoring my iPhone a week before i am not getting these SMS until someone leaves a Voicemail and also i m not getting these notifications when my Phone is busy

you could set your phone to silent and switch vibrate off so the phone wont do anything except light up while you sleep and when you wake you will see your missed calls and sms
