sim card problem

For the last 3 months my sim card has been going down 1 penny every hour.I didnt notice it at first as the amount is so small.But my pay as you go sim card was expiring real quick when i hardly used it.So i decided to keep track.The only thing i did 3 months ago apart from adding apps is change my sim card provider from O2 to vodaphone. I have a jailbroken iphone running 2.1.And i didnt upgrade to 2.1 till around 3 months ago so none of the apps in app store would have been on my iphone as they are made for 2.1. I was running 1.1.4 with installer and cydia.I thought i might have a virus so i removed all apps, restored iphone and quickpwned it again,put all apps back except mobile sciphon who i thought was causing the problem. For a while everything was OK , now its started again. I have removed ALL apps i downloaded from app store. Could it really be my sim card not being compatable with iphone?Has no-one else noticed this? Any suggestions please.

my sim card is from vodaphone,3 months ago i was with O2. It is a PAYG sim card.

Call customer service and ask them.

i was told to take PUSH in settings to OFF.How comes you didnt know that.Apparently when PUSH is on the sim card makes regular email updates, this is ALL sim cards ,not just mine, i didnt know that, as my SIM is PAYG i obviously dont subscribe to EDGE so i dont need a wifi enabled sim card.
