Anyone else have cookie issues with iPhone?
Eventhough I have it set for always, whenever I exit out of Safari, and then if I go back in later on, I am automatically logged out of any site such as this site. This has been eversince I upgraded to 2.2. Any patches or customer firmware that anyone knows of that may fix this? Thanks in advance.

When a phone has cookie issues, you re-pwn it and it fixes the issues. Sometimes you just get a bad pwn.

Someone on anouther board said to go HERE and even though they talk about 1.1.4 it works for 2.2. I tried it and it works so far.
Code:To fix it, login to iPhone using SSH. (If you don’t know SSH, leave comment and let me know). Change the directory “/var/mobile/Library/Cookies” and the plist file inside to 777. Restart the iPhone and it should work again.

If the above doesn't work, try this SITE.
It's basically this:
Worked on my 2.2 1st gen.On further investigation, I’ve worked out that the ownership of the Cookies folder and file are wrong. On some phones, they seem to be owned by ‘root’, and need to be owned by ‘mobile’. Here’s the code to fix the ownership of the files:
chown -R mobile /var/mobile/
Hope that helps. Cookies not saving is a pain. Now I'm on Safari all the time."Thanks" button. Learn it. Use it. Love it.
