    Default Slow springboard restart

Hey guys, I have a jailbroken iPhone 3g and was wondering, it seems like if i watch a video on youtube and it shows someone doing something and I see their springboard restart, it restarts in a split second and theres no waiting. I was wondering why mine doesnt. If I for example go to BossPrefs and do a restart springboard (fast) it takes prob abut 15-20 seconds. I do have winterboard and am using the perfect storm theme and also have categories installed with like 5 different folders. Would those things have any effect on the springboard restart time?

Yea, winterboard is a memory hog. It is all we got for theming but it slows the phone down big time.

With 120 springboard apps and lots of non-icon Cydia helper apps but no themes, a full-reboot takes a friends phone about 75 seconds, respring 32 seconds.
