restore/transfer files from one iphone to another

so i bought another 2g iphone....and since ill be giving my old 2g to my bro i need to export all my contacts,sms,photos,music,videos etc etc to my new phone. any1 know a good and sure way to do this?

In itunes do a backup of your current iphone. Then plug in the new phone and hit restore from backup. Select the backup you performed earlier. Few minutes later and done!

ok i thought that too but i just needed to hear it from someone.

also, my new iphone is unlocked and jailbroken.since this is the first time that i would be syncing it with my itunes, should i sync and unlock/jailbreak it with my own itunes? and then shift restore it with the backup from my old phone?

No, you shouldn't need to do that. Just restore it from the backup of your old iphone.
