What the $%&# is wrong with IMAP configuration?

So I have this new 3G to replace my wonderfull 2G iphone; got it on 2.2, got it jailbroken, I got it unlocked. GPS works just fine, App Store is great, but for some reason the same configuration that I did on my 2G for gmail IMAP does not work!!! I've tried everithing: restarting, rebooting, disable push, you name it!!!
Now, the 3G is great, but if this email thing does not resolve very soon, I'm looking to sell the 3G and stick with the old reliable one.
Has anyone had the same problem? Can anyone help? Plase, it would be a shame is the 3G is a pricey piece of crap...

Did the "unluck Captcha"?!?!? And it works just fine. Don't know what is it and I don't want to know... but if anyone is having the same trouble, go here:

It should automatically configure it for you. I had a 3G with my email account set up. If you want i'll buy your 3G if you can't get this fixed. I need one my old one broke.
