Okay, my text messaging issue has been resolved! Like they said, in a few days I would be able to receive text messages, and they were right. So, I have to conclude that the Tech Support person was RIGHT. She said that she'd send an e-mail to those middle-man people and that my problem would be resolved in a few days. As of this morning, I have been able to receive text messages from everyone. So, if you're having this problem, call AT&T and ask to be transferred to Tech Support right away. I love my iPhone!

This issue was caused by porting my number from another carrier that i used before I made the switch to my current provider.
The problems lie between the two providers. You have to call both and arrange for a technical support ticket to be generated. They will both tell you that it is not on their end. It might take a day ot two to have the issue resolved but they will do it. (if your previous carrier cannot generate a ticket from a non-customer get a friend that uses that service to call them with the issue.)
Hope this helps, there is no technical limitation going on. All carriers have agreements for text msg between them in place. Unlocked or not, no matter what service you use.

11-26-2007, 06:18 PM #57Wrong Suncom MMS address
For those of you who need or want to send MMS messages to a Suncom cell phone the right address is [email protected]. I tried the one in the post but it just doesn't work. It's for regular txt messages. Hope this helps.

Does anyone have this method confirmed working on the Rogers network in Canada? I've tried the method posted but all that goes through is the Subject and any text I include. The pic part is missing??? Is there a different address I should be sending too, or does it simply not work on Rogers?
Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hmmm Now I know I have a problem.
I took a picture and taped the little letter envelope at the bottom left email (email photo).
Entered a address from address book or contacts (whatever its called) and it does not send.
I into my email box for sent items and nothing, and never receive it.
Now I am a T-Mo customer and this is unlocked, jailbroken, and as for the EDGE settings I just went into NETWORK settings and changed the APN to wap.voicestream.com.
And I have the unlimited data package.
