hi, im a new iphone 3g user. bought a new iphone 3g unlocked and JB from the store and i had them test out everything.

everything seems fine except when i got home i went to my itunes and try to "check" manually manage music and videos tab it gives me the option to Sync and erase. since it was sync'ed to the guy in the stores itunes when i had him test out everything

Question is... Will sync and erase damage my unlocked iphone 3g 2.2? since i already got quite a few apps in there and i dont wanna lose em if worse brick my phone.

Right click and transfer purchases for appstore apps. Then sync with your computer. It wont remove unlock or jailbreak unless you restore or upgrade firmware.
